Here is a list of all the things I am currently working on; if the bulletpoint is green then it means I am actually writing/drawing it, if it is blue then it is in the planning stage (on the waiting list to be started) and if it is pink then it is mainly just speculation:
Failed Experiments: A trilogy set in a near-future-style dystopia wherein the Human race lives alongside a second race of all the people that aren't considered to be genetically right, named Mystics but nicknamed Monsters by Humankind. The books are set around the Humans' passionate hate for the Mystics, and the Mystics' fight for acceptance. It revolves mainly around Nettle, socially awkward Mystic who spent the first 16 years of his life being experimented on; Kim, a rogue robot with some serious trust issues; and Blaire, a Human who blames Mystics for the death of her father and is just trying to live a normal life. When they meet, shit goes down. (Not literally, in case you were wondering.)
Ironic Bonds: The collaborated graphic novel which will serve as sequel to both Failed Experiments and *Quid-Ad-Mendacium's The Chains. It is set in a post-apocalyptic world and focuses largely around Kim (Failed Experiments) and Asher (The Chains) as they struggle through it; contains a lot of strange/ironic humour and so-on and so-forth.
Nina: Another sequel to Failed Experiments - this time a standalone novel - set a while after Ironic Bonds. Revolves around Nina, a background character from Failed Experiments who was a child in that story but is now almost an adult, and her two companions: the pyromaniac Shion, from Ironic Bonds, and a new character Naoki, a male prostitute who has about two months to live. The society that rose from the ashes of the apocalypse is a cruel one, and the trio want this to change; after a while, they realise that the only way to fix society is to take the ultimate sacrifice and turn themselves into terrorists.
The Undercity:Out of the ashes of the Old World - the world Nina, Naoki and Shion fought to resolve - the Uppercity and Undercity were born. The Uppercity is a perfect world which the Government pours money into every day, and the Undercity is a dark pit underneath this place, where the criminals and the mentally ill and the homeless are left to die. Link - recently kicked Down through no fault of his own, a former medical student who was comatose between the ages of 9-10 - is forced to rely on Angel, the insane and heartless bastard that killed the first friend he found in the Undercity, Stitch; he wants to know more about him, but he's scared of what person he'll discover.
Rage K: A collaborated 2-series manga between me and *DeathByShovel, set in a fantasy world where magic and such is completely normal. Centres around the pupils of a magic boarding school and their antics, and isn't too serious with its plotline (although it is found out very early on in the 1st series that one amongst them is a traitor named Lies who is working in secret for a dark magic organisation, whose identity is not revealed until the end of the 1st series). Has heavy shounen-ai themes, the protagonists being Rei, Raven, Layla, Ichigo, Shin, Takizawa-sensei, Han, Miku, Izuru, Colby, Angel, Link and Hana. Yes, halfway through series 2 a portal opens into the Undercity, which Angel and Link fall through, subsequently introducing them to the plot.
Necromancer: A standalone novel set in another alternate reality, this time one where trades such as Necromancy are commonplace; that is, the raising and reanimation of the dead and the selling of them for use as servants, alongside other general dark magical arts such as poultice-making and demonic possession. Certification given by the Necromancy Guild is needed to legally become a Necromancer, and without it there is the penalty of having their soul stripped from their body. The main character is 16-year-old Yuki Starling, a blind yet powerful Necromancer who has perfect manners and works in a partnership with his guardian Jack. It's when Yuki meets innocent schoolgirl Laila that things start to go wrong, and the pair are introduced into a world of death, demons and despair.
Yarrow A short prequel to Failed Experiments, insighting into the life of Professor Grigori and how he became such a world-renowned (and corrupt) scientist. It's going to be in the form of a pretty short, flimsy comic book consisting of unclear images and heavy speech. Focuses largely around his wife, Odile, her suicide and what led him to create K21G9; the experiment that both made and broke him.
